Disney Village has been changing since 2023, and the pace picks up at the end of 2026. A new shop opened in September, a large Italian restaurant is arriving at the entrance, Rainforest Café is about to close and the cinema is starting its refurbishment. Here is what to expect on your next visit, venue by venue.

What’s new at Disney Village in 2026

Disney Wonders opened on 22 September 2026. This new shop mixes the Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars worlds in themed areas, under two large chandeliers that bring together more than 40 illustrations of famous characters and places.

Casa Giulia is expected by the end of 2026 at the entrance to Disney Village, in place of the former Planet Hollywood. This Italian restaurant from Groupe Bertrand will spread over two levels, with a 120-seat terrace. It comes with Giulia Express, a counter with a 40-seat terrace for pizza slices, focaccia, pastries and ice cream to go. We tell the story of the site in our article on Planet Hollywood and Casa Giulia.

The McDonald’s at Disney Village moved into a brand-new building, which opened on 17 February 2026, right after the old restaurant closed.

What’s closing at Disney Village

Rainforest Café will close for good by the end of 2026, according to Disneyland Paris. If you want to see its jungle and thunderstorms one last time, you only have a few weeks left. Nothing is official yet about the restaurant that will replace it.

Annette’s Diner, the 1950s American diner, has been closed for works since January 2026. It should reopen in the first quarter of 2027 with a bigger kitchen, a redesigned dining room, a Ben & Jerry’s corner inside and its terrace.

Refurbishments under way at Disney Village

The cinema, opened in 1997 as a Gaumont and now a Pathé, is starting a major refurbishment due to finish in 2027. The plans include a new façade by designer Ora-ïto, reclining seats, a Pathé Café, a redesigned Häagen-Dazs corner and a Pathé Games arcade. The cinema stays open for most of the works.

Vapiano, open for ten years, is fully redoing its dining room from late 2026 to early 2027, with a kids’ play area upstairs and a refurbished terrace. It stays open during the works.

Across the main street, the south block of the Village is under study, with works planned from 2027. Disneyland Paris has not yet said which venues will move in.

Where to eat at Disney Village right now

Rosalie, Groupe Bertrand’s French brasserie, opened in December 2023 in place of Café Mickey. The Royal Pub took over from King Ludwig’s Castle in February 2023. Sports Bar & Lounge reopened in November 2025, bringing together the Sports Bar and New York Style Sandwiches.

For an all-you-can-eat buffet, La Grange at Billy Bob’s serves Tex-Mex for €40 per adult, as detailed in our article on the La Grange buffet. A second buffet, Billy Bob’s Buffet, opened in October 2023 in the former Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show area.

Disney Village at Christmas 2026

Christmas decorations go up all over Disney Village from November 2026. Entry to the Village is free and needs no ticket, which makes it a good evening outing after the parks close.
