The Rainforest Café entrance at Disney Village

Rainforest Café, the jungle restaurant at Disney Village, is in its final weeks. Disneyland Paris has confirmed it will close for good by the end of 2026, after 27 years. If you want to see its animatronic animals, waterfalls and thunderstorms one last time, now is the moment.

When does Rainforest Café at Disneyland Paris close?

Disneyland Paris has not given an exact day. The closure was first planned for 15 September 2026, then pushed back: according to staff information reported in the press, the restaurant should serve its last meals in November 2026.

The wind-down has already started. Part of the shop has been emptied and is now used as stroller parking.

Eating at Rainforest Café one last time

The restaurant is still running with table service. To be sure of a table, book on the Disneyland Paris website or app, especially at weekends: many fans want to go back before it closes. Visit the shop too if you want a souvenir, as stock is running down.

Opened in 1999 in place of the former Key West Seafood, Rainforest Café left its mark on generations of visitors with its recreated rainforest, aquariums and thunderstorms.

What will replace Rainforest Café?

Nothing has been announced for the building yet. Its closure starts the planning of the south block of Disney Village, with works expected from 2027. All the changes are covered in our article Disney Village 2026: what’s opening, what’s closing and what’s changing. The restaurant’s staff are due to move to Casa Giulia, the new Italian restaurant opening in place of Planet Hollywood by the end of 2026.
