Explorers Hotel at Disneyland Paris: pirate rooms, pool and shuttle (2026)
5 November 2026
Explorers Hotel is the most child-focused of the Disneyland Paris partner hotels. This 3-star hotel in Magny-le-Hongre tells the story of the explorer Sir Archibald de Bacle, with a pirate and adventurer theme, a pool with a water slide and plenty of games.
Standard rooms have two double beds, or one double and two single beds. Family rooms add a bunk bed and sleep up to six, which is rare around the parks.
The pool has a 50-metre water slide, with a water area for little ones and a pirate ship. The hotel also has an indoor play area, an arcade and an XD cinema.
Three restaurants cover meals: Plantation Restaurant with its international buffet, Captain’s Library for French food, and Marco’s Pizza Parlor, with takeaway. Two bars, Smuggler’s Tavern and Traders Café, complete the offer on site. Parking is free.
The hotel is about 6 km from the parks. A free shuttle reaches the bus station near Disney Village in about 10 minutes. A Disney shop on site lets you have your park purchases delivered.
Prices change with dates, room size and the package you choose. You can book this hotel on its own or with park tickets on the official Disneyland Paris website, or compare booking sites on the map below.
Explorers Hotel is the best option for families of five or six, or for those who want a big pool after the parks. The theme and games keep children busy in the evening. The downside: it is a lively hotel, less quiet than the Val d’Europe aparthotels.
